Since 2015, Chrystina Cabral has been in the music scene, however, she released her first album as ‘SPELLLING’ in 2017. Cabral takes the roles of mixing, producing, songwriting, and recording into her own hands. She brings together dark-synth and electronic-style sound design with a bold vocal performance. SPELLLING’s work carries elements of jazz, chamber psych, experimental pop, neo-soul, R&B. Cabral contains social themes and commentary within her work, as she has struggled with discrimination throughout her life and even while she studied Philosophy at the University of California Berkeley.
